Thanks for checking in! I stayed in DC this year, and luckily, none of my many many many friends who live in Boston, ran the marathon, or came out to watch, were hurt yesterday.
I have nothing particularly insightful to say and I am generally avoiding pictures and news. This is a nice post: "If you are losing faith in human nature, go out and watch a marathon," and so is this story: "Boston Marathon heroes: Kindness and humanity amid the carnage."
