I, and many of my running friends, LOVE salt! I always thought of salting my food as a bad habit, inherited from my dad (also a runner). But I can't help it - salt is just so good!
The disapproving looks I get from "healthy" people as I liberally salt everything I eat get kind of annoying. "I'm a distance runner," I defend myself. "Heck no I'm not worried about high cholesterol! My blood pressure is at barely-alive!"
